Why is the zipper on the wrong side of my MENS ski jacket?

I just received a DNA Descente ski jacket and the zipper is on the opposite side like a womens jacket but the tag says “men”. Any ideas?
It is the DNA model for freeriding/snowboarding, not the typical “yuppy” jacket. the DNA Moe jacket. I may just call the manufacturer.
PLEASE share what BRAND of jacket you have that has this?
